A vacation at Disney World is the hardest vacation to come back from. Yes, that would explain my long absence... I was lucky enough to go to Florida for over a week, ending in four days in the happiest place on Earth. Without internet access. Which is nice, after you've recovered from the withdrawal period.
Even the discount hotels are great. Being college students, my boyfriend Bryan and I opted for the most affordable hotel on the Disney premises that we could find: The Disney All-Star Movies Resort. But no Disney vacation is really affordable. Still, it's totally worth it. It's nice to go to a place where you're completely immersed in happiness.
The attention to detail is what makes Disney so magical. There are no bugs, no trash on the ground, and no unhappy people (except for the screaming babies who can't help themselves). I'm going to write reviews of my favorite rides soon, but the only flaws I found were that Pirates breaks down a lot, Splash Mountain gets you more soaked than you'd even expect, and there's a risk of getting your arm stuck in the harness of Rockin' Roller Coaster. I still have a huge bruise to prove it.
But for now, I'll leave you with the Magic Kindom's "Wishes" fireworks show. I took my own video of this, but a tree was in the way, so this one's much better:
*Only watch this video if you've already seen the show in person, it's much better to see it live for the first time.
